WAAS Conference
This conference examined the relevance and applicability of the human security approach to different fields of higher education. It sought to generate awareness and initiate active discussion among educators and universities on the central importance of the Human Security Approach as an integral component of higher education. IGU 100th Anniversary Congress, July 18-22, 2022, Paris
In July 2022, the IGU will celebrate its 100th Anniversary at the IGU Centennial Congress in Paris. The event will be hosted under the auspices of the French Committee for Geography (CNFG). The main theme of the event is “Time for Geographers”, it is geared towards “widen dialogues between geography and society and reaffirm the significance of the geographical approach for our time”.
